Alaaeddine Rjeb
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Introduction
Alaaeddine Rjeb received his B.Sc. degree in physics, and the M.A. degree in Micro and Nano electronics from the Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, Tunisia, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In January 2021, he earned his PhD in electronics and microelectronics engineering. His main Ph.D. topic was about few mode-optical fiber designs with focus on next generation orbital angular momentum specialty fiber. Currently, He is a postdoctoral fellow at Photonics Laboratory in the Division of Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences & Engineering (CEMSE) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). His research and interests include optical fiber communication and sensing, next generation networks (NGN), Next generation optical communication physical layer' devices, and specialty devices for high dimensional Quantum Key Distribution (HD-QKD).
