​Nasir Alfaraj represents KAUST and Saudi Arabia at the 2018 Chicago Forum on Global Cities

​​Nasir Alfaraj, a Ph.D. student in the Photonics Laboratory, was selected to represent KAUST and Saudi Arabia at the 2018 Chicago Forum on Global Cities in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., which was hosted by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and The Financial Times back in June. Alfaraj was among more than 80 speakers from 27 different countries around the world.

"I believe my experience at the 2018 Chicago Forum on Global Cities will have a positive impact on me as well as those communities that I will have the opportunity to organize and serve in the future," Alfaraj noted in a statement about the event.
